Days Events:

Wx - forecast 77/63, WNW at 4, p.cloudy.

Travel - one of the nicest days we've had. Left Sylvan Beach at 07:40, cloudy, <1ft waves, traveled 22 miles over increasingly smoother water, to arrive at 10:00 at Ess-Kay Yards in Brewerton, NY. Cool and nice for traveling. Little boat traffic. Sunny after 14:00/2pm and mid-70's.

Marina - Ess-Kay has great reputation for loopers; 65 slips total/20 transients; great ship store - like an organized hardware.

Fueled [287 gal.] and pumped out; docked, stern in; small current. We noted that the waste pumped has no 'solids' - a testament to the Green Gobblers, biodigesters to breakdown 'lumps' in any septic tank system -- and enabling a more thorough clean-out.

A fellow looper next to us - a Mainship 39' - just completed the loop a few weeks ago and are live-a-boards about to head to the Bahamas for the winter.

Photos - one showing the Admiral 'sauntering' through the grass to snitch crab apples on the tree behind us [haven't seen a crab tree since we left Saskatchewan]. Dockmaster Kim most helpful, friendly.

Admirals Desk: A very short and pleasant trip. The sky and water were grey but calm. It's nice to have loopers next door. Always friendly and chatty and willing to share experiences and advice. As are the marina folks here. Roasted veggies on the menu tonight. Fridge and freezer are slowly emptying. Note the same red shirt in the photo! I like to think that the dock hands can see me better and catch the lines I throw to them and hopefully not land in the water! I do occasionally wash the shirt.😋

Maintenance: All oils/liquids ok; filled forward water tank [will empty both for storage]. No drips under the CCV regulator. Generator sound/heat insulator top pad corner unglued - will reglue in Alex.Bay.

Travel Plans: Wx favorable to cross L.Ontario Monday and into Alex.Bay on Wed. But...wait and see. Reserved a rental car in Alex.Bay for 5 days, which will also allow us to pick up a 1-way Enterprise SUV in Watertown [30 miles SW] for our return to Florence. Now at T-5.

Tomorrow - head for Oswego, NY, on L.Ontario. The Oswego Canal was built in 1828 to link the Erie Canal to L.Ontario. It has 7 locks over 24 miles. That's all today. Stay safe.
