Wk 3 – Mon.Apr.6/Day 37 to Sun.Apr.12/Day 43:

               D.A. hauled out at Saunders Yachtworks and we moved into the Hampton Inn in Gulf Shores, with only 2 or 3 other rooms being occupied due to Covid. Rented a car for the week to go for groceries and to the hardware, etc [still only about 10% masking]; and almost daily to SYW to check on the boat and do some polishing; lots of photos of it; they found we needed to replace the shafts [due to pitting], the Cutlass bearings, and the PSS; also installed the new autopilot, new sonar, and chartplotter. Had docktails and a meal with Loopers. We completed the BoatersUniversity on-line courses [Boat Handling; Engine Maint. & Troubleshooting]. We did a lot of reading and watching some TV in the hotel room.
