Days Events:

Wx - 59/73, sunny, winds 5-11 gusting to 20 W.

To-Do Plans: Met mechanic Ken and reviewed our list; gave me advice about 'normal' oil leaks, etc, [such as the turbo housing inlet and from the CCV regulator]. Due to winds, we deferred O/F change until next Thursday; all service work, which must be done before the haul-out, is organized using their 250' 'service dock' here [see photo]. After servicing several [pump oil directly from the boats into 50g.drums - no carrying of cans], boats piloted to the State Park ramp, 2 miles distant, hauled-out with a trailer and transported to a storage building within a mile or two; where other items are worked on in the heated facilities. Today, I dried and retired damp lines.

Travel: We took the local rental, a '09 Toyota Rava, to Alex.Bay to Horizon's Ship Store to pick up our Amazon; nice store, lots of boat essentials; drove by the Riveredge Resort; Alex.Bay is definitely a tourism town - winter population is reported at 1500.

Admirals Desk: More clean up, use up or throw out jobs today. The deep freeze is empty and defrosted. The last package of chicken is in the slow cooker. Orzo with spinach and feta will use up a couple more things. The wind seems relentless lately. It's driving me nuts, more probably nuttier.😋. Really looking forward to living on solid ground again. There's really nothing else worth mentioning today. We haven't had many uneventful days since March1. But we're not bored! Uneventful is good!😁

Alex Bay is definitely a tourist town with lots of cute shops, pubs and restaurants. A lot of people crowded into the downtown area, mostly wearing masks, but we decided to avoid the risk. We'll be here again in the spring and hopefully the covid situation will have improved. Update: add 5 more Amazon packages to the previous tally. Done for today.

Tomorrow - Likely take the dinghy apart and sort related stuff - get it ready for sale. Stay safe.
