Days Events:

Wx /Travel - TSM on radar, and on horizon, forecast from 0800 to 10:15, from Deltaville to the Potomac River; waited for storms to blow through and left at 10:40, traveled 24 miles in 3.0 hr, to Ingram Bay Marina, on Wicomico River. Sl. overcast, <1ft waves on the bow. Little traffic; but, every day is not unlike driving into a new city, trying to avoid the wrong turn, etc. - exciting, but intense at times.

Five Kadey-Krogen boats at Deltaville last night; chatted with one, who I helped with lines -- they have a KK rendezvous, with about 45 each fall at the Solomons. [See photo]

Marina - Ingram Bay M. is a laid-back place, lttle transient traffic, nestled in a small harbor, well protected. The office is a 'farmhouse'; a dock-woman helped us docking. A picnic gazebo and table are behind us. The docks are aging, but solid, fixed types. Nice folks.

Photos - Deltaville Marinas herb/veggie garden in front of their office, laundry, showers, and not too far from their pool. Marg took a couple of the Captain, to remember what he looks like because she doesn't see him very often! One of this new marina. Wifi not good here so photos may be posted tomorrow if not later tonight. Added one of the channel into our marina - narrow, with the bigger Bay just beyond and then the Chesapeake just beyond that; nice reflections - it would be nicer too if the winds and waves were like this once we get into the big Bay!

From the desk of the Admiral: The captain was in need of an attitude/mood adjustment this morning when we decided to delay our departure a couple of hours. Freshly baked muffins seemed to help. OCD types often need muffins if things get off schedule.๐Ÿ˜ [they were nutritious too - blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, eggs, flour, with cream dripped on them!! :)] Otherwise, a short uneventful travel day. Ingram Bay is just a layover. Solomons will be more interesting. Making tacos. I have a good recipe. [a great recipe enabling over-indulgence :)] Take care.

Mechanical: No problems. All is well.

Tomorrow, we head to the Solomons Island, Spring Cove Marina, 48 miles. Forecast - winds NNE at 5-10; Stay safe.

Janice - 15 Jul 2020: Hmmm, fresh muffins! Tough to be a couple hours later at your place/boat.
