Days Events: Wx - 56/75, winds SSW 10-20, cloudy, rain likely -- not a great day for any outside work.

Departure Preparations: Sorting clothes and other stuff.

Cleaned the sump - found a low spot in the hose from the sink, so put some 7th Generation toilet cleaner down sink and used brush to clean reachable inside of hose; Peggy Hall recommends any bathroom cleaner ok in the sump systems and vacuflush systems; since scrubbing the sump 'bin' and dosing with 7th Gen, the odor is amazingly improved. Will leave some 7G in over winter. Strainers - cleaned all 4; minimal litter, mild; the a/c strainer sight glass still has crud, so brushed it clean; had to prime the pump again.

Lines - all dry and put away, except for docking. Bilges vacuumed & dried. Ready for servicing and haul-out.

Bit of Humor: [from Wayne Fehr] Effective Suicide Counselling in Australia

A desperate looking woman stood poised on the edge of a high cliff about to jump off. A filthy tramp wandering by stopped and said, "look, since you'll be dead in a few minutes, and it won't matter to you, how about a little sex before you go?"

She screamed, "NO! Bug off you filthy old bastard!" He shrugged and turned away saying, "Okay, I'll just go and wait at the bottom."

She didn't jump.

Admirals Desk: Another day of high wind. Cloudy as well. Unpleasant for the last day of the holiday weekend. Cleaning out the bathroom cabinets.😝 Another fun job. General packing is different: no room to store suitcases so brought everything on board using bags, either big canvas ones or plastic garbage bags. We could be a cute sight checking into the hotel with garbage bags! The fridge is down to ice cubes and a couple of snacks for the hotel. It was sad to throw away all the condiments etc. Also doing the last of the laundry at marina's - it is close to the boat and clean; towels are much quicker in regular machines. Today the trick is to not get blown off the dock! Wind gusts are +30mph. Having takeout something for supper. Nothing left to cook! Take care.

Tomorrow - we drive to Watertown, 39 miles, to pick up our 'one-way' from Enterprise; will drop off our local rental, and check-in to the Riveredge Resort; tonight will be our last on the boat until next spring. Will finish loading the car tomorrow.

That's all for today. Stay safe.
