Days Events:

Wx - hot and humid. Mild winds. Travel - Marg grabbed Uber to get groceries.

Photos - one from the hill [at gate to condos and the Uber drop-off] is quite picturesque looking West over the marina; a South view of the condos beside the marina; night without the bright NYC lights; one I just took of the evening sun rays pointing at our marina!

Admirals Desk: Another layover with uber to the grocery store; a Super Foodtown. Not huge but had everything I needed. All wearing masks. Every store seems to have its own unique plan for covid safety. The trick is to figure out the plan quickly. No smiles are visible with masks but glares if you're going up a down aisle are very visible. I get lots of glares.😁 Finally organized delivery of our Greek dinner. Heat index was 99 today. It's tough to keep the boat comfortable during the afternoon. Fortunately, our stateroom is cool. A haircut update: may need to trim my bangs this week! It's been 8 weeks!!! That's all for now.

Maintenance:

Electrical - I finally fixed the GFCI in the aft head - I did have the cables reversed! Determined the fwd head GFCI controls all outlets in the fwd state/bunkrooms; must be either a junction box near the electrical distribution panel, or both lines [one to each head] are connected at the same circuit breaker. Regardless, all is well. Replaced the GFCI receptacle in the pilot house; now it works correctly. The battery charger is working appropriately again after the reboot yesterday.

The dock power seems erratic, causing our CB to trip - at least I presume it is the pedestal supply, because we have generally not been having so many problems; 1 a/c and the washer/dryer cause a trip; on the generator, we can run almost everything without a problem. Therefore, on the Admiral's order, I started the generator so we could stay cool and wash clothes! [I am putting together an amperage listing for all our AC appliances, etc to help guide what we can turn on simultaneously without causing the CB to trip.]

Washing - used Instant Hull Cleaner on my new telescoping brush to clean the 'mustache' off the stbd bow and along the hull; works like a charm. Next time we are docked to port, I'll do that side. Hopefully, now that we are leaving seawater and the AICW, the 'mustaches' should not recur [never had them while on the Tenn.River]. That's all today.

Tomorrow - we head to Newburgh, NY, the Riverfront Marina, 25 miles! Keep on staying safe, please.
