We have been planning our Loop journey for over a year prior to leaving. Our boat is a 2005 Meridian 490 Pilothouse ]which we purchased in 2019 specifically for the Loop, after having a 1988 Trojan 12M International for 4 years [our practice boat]. We have been married 'almost' 49 years and believe this new journey will not interfere with our reaching our 50th in 2021!
Great Loop 2021
We will drive from Florence, AL to Alex.Bay, NY mid-May to begin the 2nd half of our Loop, cruising across the Great Lakes and down the Illinois R/Mississippi R/Tennessee R to reach home by early Sept.
